The Accountor Group and Danish Absalon Services A/S announced today that Accountor has bought 80 % of the shares of Absalon from Karsten Heiselberg, a well known Dane who has been nominated as country leader of Denmark in Accountor Group. Absalon employs 40 professionals in Copenhagen. The current Accountor office will move to Absalon premises.

Accountor Group is at present in Norway, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Denmark, Holland, Ukraine and Germany. The group will have ca. 180 M€ of turnover in 2011 with 2.300 professionals and more than 30.000 clients altogether.

Accountor Group with its franchisees is the biggest vendor of Financial outsourcing services in Northern Europe.

The acquisition of Absalon is a great step to strengthen Accountor operations in Denmark, where the group has been present through its subsidiary Accountor Denmark since 2007.
